Pioneer have never failed to amaze the chin strokers of the music industry, with a consistent release of groundbreaking CD Decks dating all the way back to 1992.

As we try and keep up with the never ending battle of evolving technology, 2012 saw a new age for the CD Deck, as Pioneer force fed us another mouth watering piece of technology, breaking the mold on anything that they've ever made before....

The Pioneer 2000 Nexus!

Although the smooth sleek appearance of the Nexus runs in the same vain as the Pioneer 2000, its technical capability and DJ friendly features are non comparable to any other CD Deck currently on the market.

This puts the Pioneer 2000 Nexus in a whole new league of its own, truly making it a 'one of a kind' piece of hardware.

Some of the features that instantly grab your attention when getting to grips with the Nexus are:

Slip Mode: This feature was adopted from the CDJ-900, and allows you to loop, reverse or scratch, bringing you back to the original point when you have finished manipulating the track.

Quantize: Now with its own ON/OFF switch for easy access, Quantize uses beatgrid recognition to trigger the loops and cues in time with whatevers playing, all 100% accurate.

Active Loop: This allows you to record an Active Loop at the end of the track, so if you suddenly realise you're running out of tune, you can use 'Active Loop' as a cheeky scapegoat. The Nexus's will even display a beat countdown to that specific point.

Beat Sync: As if life couldn't get any easier for a digital DJ, Pioneer have even introduced a 'Sync' button, that snaps the beatgrids into phase with the master deck. This then leaves you free to get creative with looping, scratching or effects processing, without having to worry about your mix drifting out of time.

Master Tempo : New and improved and specific to the Nexus, Pioneer have created a new algorithm which locks the tracks pitch whilst you manipulate the tempo. This means you can mix two different tracks in completely different speed brackets, without each track sounding like a chipmunk or tranquilized vocalist.
