Pro Audio Centre is a retailer of professional audio and lighting equipment, selling via our online shop, and also from our store premises at the company headquarters in Leeds.
Launched in 2010, the company began life as an online only retailer, selling products via the Pro Audio Centre website. The store opened its doors in June 2013, at the company’s headquarters in the vibrant centre of Headingley - the area of Leeds famed for its cricket ground, and also for being the very heart of the student area. In October 2013 the company rebranded, and Pro Audio Centre was born.
“ We make it our mission that each customer shopping at Pro Audio Centre receives expert advice, top notch customer service and unbeatable prices! ”

MEET THE TEAM
Kris HeathOperations Manager
After becoming fascinated with music and music technology in school, Kris built a well-equipped home studio, volunteered as a sound engineer at various local theatres and eventually went on to study Sound Technology at The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts. Whilst studying he started applying his techie skillset towards producing electronic music and for a time after graduating performed at clubs around the North of England. These days he’s more into alternative and folk music, spending his free time writing songs, brushing up on his keyboard and vocal skills, and recording in his home studio. And obsessing over Game of Thrones.
Matthew JohnstoneSenior Retail Assistant
Originally from Scarborough, North Yorkshire, Matthew’s love for music stems from his time spent training as an actor in Alan Ayckbourn’s own round theatre. Often shunning the lime light for the live room, Matthew spent the vast majority of his college years in a dimly-lit studio tinkering with an old analogue mixer and persevering with a less than state of the art condenser microphone. In 2004 he travelled to Leeds to study Creative Music and Sound Technology at Leeds Met, where he quickly gained himself a reputation as a versatile session musician and producer. Since then he’s turned his hand to classical guitar, banjo, base, and piano, and is happy to hop between genres at the drop of a hat. Whilst his eclectic music collection ranges from Baroque to Blue Grass, Matthew will always hold dear his first love…Black Metal.
